Perfect Fit Guarantee

Custom work should feel like a sure thing. Our Perfect Fit Guarantee is built around that idea: we use your photos, tracings, and measurements to create a tailored cover—and if the fit isn’t right, we work with you to fix it.

How we get the fit right

We don’t rely on guesswork. Every custom order is built from:

  • Clear photos of your furniture
  • Detailed tracings of key areas (arms, cushions, backs), when the shape isn't common and requires a bespoke pattern
  • Guided measurements using our step-by-step instructions

Before production, we review your submission and flag anything that needs clarification. If something looks off, we’ll reach out.

Need help? We offer tutorials and optional live online support so you can measure with confidence.

What happens after you receive your cover

Try it on. Sit on it. Live with it for a few days.

If you’re not in love with the fit, we’ll make it right.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Reach out within 7 days of delivery
  2. Share photos of the fit (we’ll guide you on what to send)
  3. We’ll diagnose the issue and recommend the fix
  4. You send the cover back
  5. We fine-tune or remake it based on what we learn

Our goal is simple: a clean, tailored fit that looks right in your room and holds up to real use.

What’s covered

Your order is eligible for the Perfect Fit Guarantee when:

  • It’s a custom-made cover (not EasyFit or ready-made styles)
  • You’ve provided photos and measurements
  • You’ve followed our measurement guidelines
  • You have not washed the cover and it is still in its original condition. Upholstery fabrics do not come pre-shrunk like other garments, so they will shrink with washing and even air drying, especially on a hot day. Spot-cleaning or dry cleaning is required if you want to maintain a perfect fit. And performance or stretch-fabrics and be more forgiving than a 100% cotton canvas, for example.

Under the guarantee, we include:

  • Reasonable fit adjustments (e.g., take-in/let-out, alignment, shape corrections)
  • One remake per order when adjustments won’t achieve the right result

On larger or more complex orders, we sometimes make a "dummy cover" with different materials that we can use to test the fit in advance. This will add a little extra production time, however.

What’s not covered

We keep this straightforward so we can stand behind every order:

  • Shipping costs (both ways)
  • Issues caused by incorrect or incomplete measurements that didn’t follow our guidelines
  • Changes to the original specifications (different style, new features, added pieces)
  • Normal fabric variation (texture, drape, or color differences inherent to textiles)
  • Fit preferences that go beyond standard tailoring (e.g., intentionally loose vs. tailored after production)

If you want to change the design after the fact, we can absolutely help—those updates are just handled as a new or revised order.

What “fit” means to us

A good fit should:

  • Sit clean and smooth across major surfaces
  • Align properly at seams, cushions, and edges
  • Stay in place during normal use

Because every piece of furniture—and every fabric—behaves a little differently, there may be minor variation. This includes differences in worn-out cushions or armrests, for example, where the right and left sides might not be 100% identical after years of use.

Our goal is a tailored, upholstery-like look, not a rigid or over-tight cover. In some cases, we might need to create a little slack to accommodate normal use (e.g., it'll need to give a little when you sit on it). If you're not sure what to expect with a particular fabric or furniture style, feel free to give us a call or take a look at some of our customer photos.

Tips for the best result

  • Take your time with measurements and tracings; use a standard tape measure to ensure you're measuring around the curves.
  • Use good lighting for photos
  • Follow our guides closely (we've learned a lot of the watch-outs over the years, and there's a lot of helpful tips in there).
  • Ask questions before submitting—we’re here to help

Getting it right upfront leads to the best outcome, fastest.

The bottom line

We stand behind our work. If something’s off, we’ll work with you to fix it—clearly, fairly, and without runaround.

That’s the Perfect Fit Guarantee.
