There’s a soft backing underneath, so it has some give when you press in, but the surface stays sleek. You’ll notice a faint grain or texture, like real leather, but more uniform and predictable. Most slipcovers for a daybed, bed cover, or a custom mattress cover are made in about 5 business days in our Queens, NY workshop. Once it’s finished, we ship it right out. (We're New Yorkers so we've got to move fast.)
We offer free ground shipping on most orders. In many cases, you’ll have your new slipcover in as little as two weeks from the time you order.

Yes, you can. We just ask that you send a sample first so we can inspect it. Some fabrics simply don’t work well for slipcovers, and we want to make sure the final result will look great and hold up over time.

While some fabrics are fine to throw in the wash, other do shrink a bit or get wrinkled after the wash. For example, even if you air dry, a hot day in Arizona could shrink a cotton blend cover so that it doesn't fit as well. It's always a good idea to spot clean or dry clean. If you're unsure, just give us a ring.
